Automatic Color Changing Pool and Spa Lights

Building a new swimming pool or spa?  Thinking about remodeling your existing backyard?  Simple white incandescent lighting makes for a boring pool and backyard.  Today’s pools and spas now are available with special automatic color changing lights.

Now is the time to plan for modern lighting.  Pool lights are available in LED versions which automatically change colors and have a variety of light shows. Many models can be synchronized to allow for multiple lights in a pool to change to the same colors all at the same time. LED Lights are available in full pool size models and a smaller size for spas.  LED lights are now available from a variety of manufactures and all are excellent ways to “jazz” up your pool.  Keep in mind the method of turning the light on and off.  Many times the light switch is located outside next to the pump and filter; this may not be the most convenient location for a switch which controls automatic color changing lights.  Color changing lights typically are turned on and off and lights colors are changed or held on a particular color by using the on & off switch.  Keep this in mind when having lights installed; this might be the time to invest in a remote switch for your lights.

Don’t just have a boring, standard white light pool, jazz it up, put some color in your pool and you will be amazed and your friends won’t believe their eyes at your next pool party.
